I hope people don't mind me christening this forum. >_>; But ah, here we go.


DJ YOSHITAKA aka Yoshitaka Nishimura, sound director for beatmania IIDX and composer extroardinaire for nearly all bemani games. He scratches for Des-ROW as well, which leads to godly things like Hip Rock 3. He's also on the layout banner... somewhere? (I've gotten Yoshitaka, kors k and Yamaoka so far.)

So, uhh... I love the stuff he's written under the Suzaku name. CaptivAtes are lovely, plus CUSTROM DRIVE is one of my favourite songs despite it being only 30 seconds long. And he sings in Seishun Rock, which is prtty awesome. I can't wait for the DVD of the beatnation summit to come out so that we can see the live songs, haha.

Yoshitaka is one of the artists i respect the most because of his versatility, he can make epic songs like Contract or nice pop songs like Nijiiro. I also like his vocals in Endless Summer Story (if that is actually him xD) and D.A.N.C.E.!

My favorite song by him is Catch me from Happy Sky, i hope he keeps doind stuff like that with that vocalist.

I keep refreshing mine because I want to CATCH THEM ALL, haha. I haven't gotten Ryu* yet, but I've gotten everybody else.

GOLD RUSH is Yoshitaka's most parodied song. I recorded two versions of it - one with the original english lyrics and the other with Japanese mondegreen lyrics which are amusing.

And Yoshitaka and Michael a la mode are all over the system music for DJ Troopers. I believe if you select a song you get a clip of Michael saying "LET'S DO IT!"

Actually, a lot of his songs are on IIDX. He's involved in about 15 pop'n music songs compared to 22 (tentative, since the current version of IIDX might have some more new songs coming to it) on IIDX.

Originally, I really disliked this song (not because of Yoshi's music, but Hoshi's voice).  It seemed like a failed attempt at trying to reproduce BeForU's cutesy style, like in LOVE LOVE SUGAR or HONEY PUNCH.  But after a few listens.. it got really catchy, and now I love it. 

At the beginning of the first verse, what does Hoshi say, exactly? "Love, love, love, choo, choo, choo?" It's SO CUTE!

It's on DJ TROOPERS. I have no clue why we have Kanako's cutesey songs on a release like DJT, but then again we had Dazzlin' Darlin...
