Everything that was sold at the recent Pinkbeatz live is now also on sale on the homepage. There's lots of pictures. No idea if they ship internationally, but might be worth asking if you're interested.

Personally I recommend the eco bag and the Nao t-shirt.  Wink

Random thought, but what does it say under COVER GIRLS in the top right-hand corner of the cover girls' website?

"_______business beyond ___" I can't read most of it.

The Key of Business Beyond Genders. No, I can't read it on the page, but it's printed on the bag as well.

So my guess is that they're making a statement saying that guys are not the only people who can make a company (considering Japan still holds a little bit more sexism than America)?

I know a few people have mentioned being too big for a Japanese XL, myself included. I sent them an e-mail asking if there was any possibility of offering XXL/XXXL T-shirts, and here's the response I got:

Quote
Dear Angelique,

Thank you for contacting us!!

We are sorry that we are not ready to ship the goods overseas for the present.

Your request is welcome and appreciated.
Thank you for your worldwide support, and we will make every effort to satisfy worldwide demand as much as possible.

Thank you.

Sincerely.

I'm not sure if they're talking about shipping the goods overseas as in, they aren't prepared to ship ANY of the shirts overseas yet, or just they're not prepared to ship BIGGER shirts, but... I'm really happy at the effort they're making to accommodate international fans. Cheesy Hopefully they might consider it.

Look who AYA invited to the arcade to play a session of V5.   Risa looking so cool

Seems like the two are still good friends.  I wonder if they keep in contact with the other half of BeForU.... (Riyu, Noria, and Saya...) Huh?

That would be really awkward not liking each other but sharing the same group title thing and website. If they didn't get along, they would probably just go off solo.

But wow, I didn't recognize her at first. She looks really pretty.

Both AYA and ALiCE have posted on their blogs concerning the same thing and it caught my attention.

Quote from: AYA's blog

Quote from: ALiCE's blog

ALiCE

hmm... I could be wrong so don't take anything seriously:
Are they saying they don't belong to any company and they're independent / free artists?  A-Cube is just the group that supports them and delivers the e-mails?  It also says there was a mistake in the e-mail that they sent saying that the two girls belonged to a music business and they don't. (I didn't receive that by the way)  ALiCE states that she is strictly an independent self producing artist and doesn't belong to anyone.  Can someone help me out with this?  I don't think I'm comprehending this correctly...

Hmm, that's a little odd. I remember someone (I think sakyura? I could be wrong) mentioning that A-Cube was formed pretty much from BeForU fans who didn't want to see the old members go. So I always kind of assumed that they were just a supportive fanbase... but the part about not being in a business together confuses me. Isn't that what COVER GIRLS is, a business? They advertise merchandise for all three girls on there... and it'd be one thing if they were each selling independently, but it seems like they're working together -- what with Nao's signature on the SUPER VIRGIN customs form and all.

I mean hell, their slogan is "The key of business beyond genders". Huh?

I don't know the details, but some fans are definately behind it.

From what I see it says that ALiCE and AYA are going their own ways, "retiring" from Cover Girls. The company will still remain though.

I've been thinking about getting one of those bracelets, maybe I should before they put everything down Undecided

Ohhh. ;~;

That makes me incredibly sad.

And I was hoping they were going to add international shipping options for the rest of their goods sometime soon... I guess that's not likely at this point. :/

EDIT: Actually, I'm a bit confused. Both of their blog posts seem to say things will go on as they have been without any changes, and without any mention of CGS. They do say that they're "free artists", but might they just be referring to the fact that they're solo singers rather than in a band together? I don't know, I know enough Japanese to get ten different interpretations of this, but not enough to figure out which one is right. Tongue But since neither of them mention CGS specifically... this is confusing.

Noooo.. please don't let them retire.. AGAIN.
Anyway I don't think that's the case.  I think they're both just stating they don't belong to a high end music company and they're not under any contracts or anything like that.  They are free to produce music whenever they want.  Also I think they're trying to distinguish that they are soloists not an actual vocal unit.
