First off... my theory with the girls all changing their names.. perhaps they were stage names to begin with, and these are either new stage names, or their actual names. Could be?

Also, yeah that one girl that has the gravure DVD is cute... but I don't think it's something the entire group needs to commit to. Looks to me like it's just something the one girl did, if that wasn't the case, wouldn't there be more than 1 DVD from the group by now?

I hope Ako releases some music. I was never a huge fan of Sayaka I mean I liked her in BeForU but she was my least favorite member, I'm glad to know that she is okay but, at the same time I kind of feel a little angry. I really thought she was sick and couldn't sing anymore unlike AYA. I believed her and she was lying, she may have been sick but not as bad as she made it seem. I am glad she's okay though, and I'll still try to keep up with her career.

It must be hard to break out of a contract from avex and or Gambit.    

^maybe she really did get sick.  Maybe that's why she's in Kunoichi now.. but then I wonder how well she performed in her good-bye concert..

Given her name change and new group involvement, I thought it appropriate to create a new discussion thread: The Ako Tojo Thread. From here on out, let's discuss her new activities over there, and keep this thread for discussion of "Sayaka Minami".

Well, if you read my little theory regarding her name change a few pages back, you would find that this reason would make faking an illness is quite justified.  Believe me.

Okay, so I remember awhile back that I once jokingly explained that one possible reason for Sayaka's leave and name change had something to do with a JAV idol (porn star) who just so happened to have the same name.  The theory went that Sayaka googled herself one day and saw...something she didn't like, which led her to leave BeForU and change her name. (As we know, in order to keep identities separate, there can't be a public change, therefore she would have to leave.)  Thus, the whole idea of her being sick would be an excuse according to this theory.

As it turns out, I did a little research while I was bored, and it just so happens that the porn star whose name is also Sayaka Minami started putting out DVDs just a few months before BeForU's Sayaka made her official announcement of leave.  The more I think about it, the more I find this theory to be quite likely.  So yeah, for those who feel betrayed by her leaving and joining a new group, I'm sure she has good reasons of her own.

And I would cite sources if they were appropriate on this site, haha.

Well if you go with that theory, I think it'd be more likely that she was getting fan mail intended for the other Sayaka. And that might have prompted her to google herself.
