Paula Terry is one of the best voices in BEMANI. All though she often sounds like a Disney singer, she has sung a lot of songs that we know in love, and many that have been covered by BeForU.

Wellm they were covered by Riyu only on "Begin".

But yeah, i love Paula terry as well, may of her songs were the ones that got me hooked on DDR to begin with, i really like Destiny, Passion of Love, Memories, Hyper Eurobeat, DanceDanceRevolution, Love again Tonight, well all of them xD

Also her work with Orbitribe was awesome, TUNE ON is one of my favorite trance songs ever.

I like Paula Terry.
She has a great voice, like Mary Elizabeth McGlynn(The one that sings with Yamaoka).

I like all the songs she involved in usually.

♥Paula Terry!

I would like to know more about her and to hear more stuff by her. Having that voice, I still don't understand why she doesn't release something else. I guess that if you go to Japan, you can find her performing on a hotel's bar or sth like that. I've got a couple of songs by her as 'Sonia'.

I also love her songs with Orbitribe. Actually, that entire album is amazing. Does anybody have her album 'Just Breakaway'?

Paula and Miharu should do a duet Tongue

I'm not really a big fan of Paula's voice, but I do love MEMORIES, Can't Stop Fallin' in Love (especially the Speed Mix) and Still in My Heart (though LIFELESS is better by a long-shot, IMO!)

Yeah, i have her "Just breakaway" album, and it's good, some cover songs and some originals, although i really preffer her bemani stuff, although Breakaway(the song) is really good.

Also, that Neo Contra theme song she did with SOTA is really good too.

I'm not really a fan of her for the most part, but she's done a few really good songs:

3. DESTINY (both versions)
2. STILL IN MY HEART (MOMO MIX)
1. La amour et la liberté (original version)

Methinks she needs to do more French trance. ♥

I was watching this video of her of an interview of her life in japan and she does a brief mention of her work with KONAMI

Quote from: Paula Terry
...I've done 10 or 12 songs for a very famous game music company here in Japan.
When i sing up high in that eurobeat DDR music, it seems to work
and i've been recieving fan mail for the past 3 or 4 years from all over the world,
and it's kind of strange for a genre of music that i'm not really in to....

She speaks very good japanese aparently.
That video interview has clips from her "Paula Terry LIVE DVD" as well.

Hahahaha Paula Terry.
I guess I can't really blame the singer, I mean her Raspberry Heart was the best of all, maybe Naoki just didn't know how to write English lyrics or set a good melody for her voice to follow?

Meh i guess i should post this here too.

This is a custom album cover i made for my collection of paula terry songs.
There wasn't enough space on the disc for all songs so i left out Love Again Tonigh (high speed mix) and one of the orbitribe songs (Mirage), i must say the wangan songs are really really good.

Yeah, DIVE came out long before DIVE into your heart.

Yeah, DIVE came out long before DIVE into your heart.

Actually, I think they came at around the same time.  The BeForU one did technically come out first (DDR 5th mix; March 2001), but only a few months before the IIDX Paula Terry version (IIDX 6th style; Sept. 2001).  The prior IIDX style (IIDX 5th style; March 2001) came around the same time as DDR 5th mix, so it seems to me that the BeForU one clearly came first (there could be that slight possibility that the other version was recorded first, but I won't believe this until I see written proof Tongue.  Plus, I'm getting these dates from wikipedia).

i like her song e-mail me and it's one of my favorites in dm5th. now this one's might not be from bemani but i love her singing in one of her wangan midnight maximum tune trance music with yuzo koshiro (oh i wish he'll be a guest composer for the next IIDX) especially this is my destiny which is my personal favorite of hers.
